Ukrainian special forces have mocked Russia’s blockade on their frontline by delivering KFC to soldiers with a drone.
Footage released by Ukraine’s 3rd Separate Special Purpose Regiment shows a secret mission to carry fried chicken to hungry troops.
The drone drops off the yellow takeaway bag – belonging to the delivery company Glovo – for grinning soldiers to enjoy.
The delivery flies in the face of Russia’s attempt to strangle Ukraine’s supply lines and cut troops off from vital resources.
The regiment said: ‘When standard delivery is impossible, drone supply takes over.
